Rediscover Movement and Comfort

Physiotherapy helps you regain strength and mobility.

Physiotherapy is all about empowering you to move freely and live comfortably. By focusing on personalized exercises and techniques, it addresses a variety of physical challenges, from injury recovery to chronic pain management. Whether you're looking to enhance your physical performance or simply want to enjoy daily activities without discomfort, physiotherapy offers tailored solutions to meet your unique needs, promoting healing and improving your quality of life.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists are highly trained in the body’s movement and correct biomechanical function. Physiotherapy is beneficial not only for individuals with acute or chronic pain/injury, or disease resulting in disability, but also for those interested in injury prevention. In your appointment, your therapist will provide a thorough assessment of your injury/condition causing either acute or chronic pain in order to determine where the primary source of that pain is coming from. Once the primary structure(s) are determined, an individualized treatment plan is created with the patient’s recovery goals in mind. At Orca Physiotherapy, the physiotherapist and patient work together as a team in order to achieve the patient’s functional goals.

You’re physiotherapy treatment may include a combination of any of the following: Education/activity modifications, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription (ie. stabilization, balance, proprioception, strengthening, stretches), IMS/acupuncture/dry needling, ultrasound, shockwave therapy.
