Rosie Chamberlin, Orca Physiotherapy

Rosie was born and raised on Vancouver Island and  is proud to call Victoria Home. She graduated with distinction from Vancouver Island University with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and English. She went on to successfully complete her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2010.

She takes a dynamic approach to rehabilitation by incorporating a combination of treatments all while empowering her patients by educating them on their specific condition including methods and tools to assist in achieving the best possible outcome.

Her scope of practice is broad and her extensive knowledge base has been gained by completing a variety of courses including Soft Tissue Release and Functional Strength and Conditioning, as well as many competency-based post-graduate courses including:

Physiotherapy is an ever changing and ever evolving healthcare field, and Rosie strongly believes in maintaining continuing competency in her skills: In order to do this, has recently re-attended both Part 1 and 2 of the Gunn IMS course (in 2023 and 2024) to expand her knowledge and maintain safe practice techniques and protocols. She is also in the process of completing her continuing competency exams with the American Institute of Balance to maintain her Advanced Vestibular Therapy and Concussion Management certifications (2024).

She expanded her practice to include pelvic health and has completed the competency-based CAPP Level 1 course to assess and treat urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse with the Women’s Health Division of the American Physiotherapy Association, as well as Marcy Dayan's Evidence-Based Approach to Treating Dyspareunia and Vulvar Vestibulodynia (pelvic pain). Rosie has also completed the Oncology and the Pelvic Floor course through Pelvic Health Solutions, as well as Physical Therapy in Gender-Affirming Care: Transgender Health through the APTA Pelvic Health (An Academy of the American Physical Therapy Association).

Rosie is currently accepting new patients.  Unfortunately, she is currently not accepting new ICBC claims and she does not treat WorkSafe BC claims.

Rosanna Chamberlin is professional, friendly and caring. She is thorough and knowledgeable seeing your injury or issue to the end. Rosanna has worked on both adults and kids in our family and she makes everyone feel comfortable with their rehab. I highly recommend Rosanna Chamberlin.
