Do I need a doctor’s referral to go to physiotherapy?

No, you can go to a physiotherapy appointment without a doctor’s referral, however, if you are planning on submitting your receipt for reimbursement from an extended benefits plan, you may want to review the plan as some require a doctor’s referral note.

Do you treat WorkSafe BC claims?

No, I’m sorry we are not WorkSafe BC care providers.

Does MSP cover any portion of my physiotherapy fees?

If you are receiving Premium Assistance with MSP, you will receive 10 visits total (combined with chiropractic, acupuncture, massage).  If you are not on premium assistance, MSP will not cover any portion of your physiotherapy fees. To determine your eligibility for coverage, we would need your personal health number and date of birth. Get more information on your MSP coverage.

Do you do direct billing to MSP?

No, unfortunately, as of December 15, 2023 we are no longer offering direct billing to MSP. If you qualify for Premium Assistance (see above), you may complete a MSP Reimbursement Form 2944 along with your treatment receipt to MSP. MSP takes 21 days to process reimbursement. To access this form, please go to https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/health/health-forms/msp/forms-for-bc-residents#enrolment

Do you do direct billing to extended health plans?

As of December 1, 2023, no new extended health benefits plans will be added to our direct billing account system. All patients, however, receive a emailed receipt with your therapist’s license/registration with CPTBC to allow you to submit to your extended benefits plan for reimbursement as appropriate and in accordance with your insurance company’s benefit structure and policy guidelines.

Do you treat ICBC claims?
